Lockdown running challenge update

What a lovely day it is! I ran 7km for the fifth day of my 7k for 7 days challenge earlier this morning. I’m doing this, along with Cllr David Gibson, to raise money for our local food hubs and to set up a social supermarket, a non-profit, that will offer good quality, cheap food to people in our ward.
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far. My total has just tipped over the £500 mark – so I really appreciate the pledges from all of you who have helped to get it there. I’d love to get it to £700, so if you can help, please add your name and donation here:
If you struggle to open it, just drop me a message with your pledge amount on, along with your email address and I’ll add you.
And well done to David for completing his 10k for 10 days challenge! 👏👏👏 He’s still accepting last minute sponsors.
If you would like to do a similar run or another challenge to raise money for those in Hanover and Elm Grove who are struggling at the moment, please let me know and I’ll let you know how. It doesn’t have to be 7k for 7 days – whatever works for you is fine.
